Our Story

It started with my family. Every great product starts with a simple question. For Ying, that question was: "Why aren't electric scooters designed around the people who use them every day?" When Ying looked at the electric scooters on the market, he noticed that most of them were created around performance — more speed, more power, more aggressive riding experiences. These products were impressive, but something felt missing. They were designed for machines. Not always for people.

Designed from real life.

Main Story As a husband and a father, Ying wanted to create something different — an electric scooter that his wife and his child would genuinely enjoy using. Something that felt easier to handle, more comfortable, more natural in everyday life, and more beautiful and approachable. WOOJAY was not created only in front of a computer or inside a factory. It started from real moments — the everyday mobility needs of his own family. How easy is it to carry? How comfortable does it feel? How natural is it to ride? Would someone actually want to use it every day? These weren't abstract specifications. They were real questions, asked by a father who wanted to build something his own family would truly use.

Less complexity. More freedom

We believe mobility products should not only perform well — they should make you feel confident, comfortable, and connected to the city around you.

Family as First Riders & Feedback

Ying's family became the first users, testers, and inspiration behind WOOJAY. They rode every early version, shared honest feedback, and helped shape the product from the inside out — not from a spec sheet, but from real, everyday experience. Their feedback shaped the direction of WOOJAY. What started as one family's search for a better way to move became the idea behind WOOJAY itself — designed around people, inspired by the people Ying loves most. frequently asked questions
